Explosives are rapidly combustible consumables that cause one or more of the following effects:

  • FireFire Area of Effect (AOE) damage
  • ForceForce AoE damage
  • Forcible displacement (knockback) of creatures.

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 Ignites if thrown or placed onto a Fire Fire surface
  2. Only ignites if placed onto a Fire Fire surface. If thrown it creates a surface which ignites instantly, but there are no explosion effects.
  3. 3.0 3.1 There is a bug common to Brilliant Retort and Smokepowder Bomb (of which the former is a variant) that applies multiple instances of damage to each creature in the blast range. Each instance of damage triggers its own saving throw.
