Explosives are a kind of rapidly combustible consumables in Baldur's Gate 3.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Explosives cause one or more of the following effects:

  • FireFire Area of Effect (AOE) damage
  • ForceForce AoE damage
  • Forcible displacement (knockback) of creatures.

The listings provided below should be seen as non-exhaustive. For details about some saving throw effects, see CanAreaDamageEvade (spell flag).

  1. 1.0 1.1 There is a bug common to  Brilliant Retort and  Smokepowder Bomb (of which the former is a variant) that applies multiple instances of damage to each creature in the blast range. Each instance of damage triggers its own saving throw.
