The Festering Cove

The Festering Cove is a Location within the Underdark in Act One of Baldur's Gate 3. It is a remote and partially hidden location.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The entrance to The Festering Cove is in the Torchstalk field northeast of the Arcane Tower and south-east of the Decrepit Village. The entrance to the Festering Cove is at X: 76 Y: -242. The path leading up to this entrance is accessible at X: 70 Y: -240 and requires the party to jump down two mushroom platforms.

The Festering Cove is home to a tribe of Kuo-toa that are worshipping the alleged Kuo-toa God of Murder, BOOOAL BOOOAL. A companion can be sacrificed to BOOOAL for the condition BOOOAL's Benediction BOOOAL's Benediction. Successfully investigating BOOOAL's nature through dialogue and becoming his "chosen" awards the Sickle of BOOOAL.
