Notable Loot
Chapter One
If you pass a dialogue Skill Check or if Astarion is in your party, Gandrel will reveal he is hunting for Astarion. Gandrel believes he has information about a vampire spawn attack on a village and the abduction of a child. You can choose to give Astarion up, or protect him. Holding Astarion back from killing Gandrel will earn Astarion's disapproval.
Note: It is not possible to give Astarion up to the monster hunter if Astarion has not tried to drink your blood during a Long Rest. Astarion will try to do so during his first Long Rest with the party. Without this event, no dialogue tree will give Astarion over to Gandrel.
Trivia and Notes
- If you admit you know Astarion, but refuse to reveal his location, Gandrel remarks, good naturedly, that "Astrarion has quite the friend in you".
