Fog Cloud

Fog Cloud is a level 1 conjuration spell. It allows spellcasters to summon a sphere of fog on an area in range and heavily obscure the area. Creatures within the area are Blinded.

AoE: 5 m / 15 ft (Radius)

Concentration

At higher levels

Upcast: Affects a larger area when cast with Spell Slots of higher Level.

Area: Fog

The spell creates a cloud with the following properties.

• AoE: 5 m / 15 ft (Radius)
• Duration: 10 turns

Creatures within the area are affected by the following conditions:

 Blinded

• Ranged attacks and spells have a range of 3 m / 10 ft and Attack Rolls suffer Disadvantage.
• Attack Rolls against Blinded creatures have Advantage.

Blinded

 Heavily Obscured

• Hiding in a Heavily Obscured area. Will go undetected unless they get too close to another creature.

• Class Level 1: Druid , Sorcerer , Wizard , and Tempest Domain Cleric

• Class Level 2: Ranger

• Class Level 3: Arcane Trickster Rogue , and Eldritch Knight Fighter

Feats:

•  Magic Initiate: Wizard
•  Magic Initiate: Sorcerer
•  Magic Initiate: Druid

Granted by the following items:

• Hammergrim Mist Amulet

Notes

• Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer of Bronze (Lightning) Ancestry learns this spell automatically.
