Janina is a dead human who can be found in Baldur's Gate during Act Three.

Janina is buried in the Graveyard (Lower City) in the Lower City. She was one of the victims of a 
serial killer. Her daugther 
Billyum can be found aside her grave mourning. The 
Diary which can be also found in Janina's grave (apparently written by her) says that she was overwhelmed by the household routine and tried to run away from it. She seems to have chosen the wrong companion for the endeavour.
