Valmorba is a high half-elven gravekeeper in the Mortuary within the Graveyard in Baldur's Gate 3. She is a devotee of Kelemvor and manages the graveyard.
Involvement[edit section | visual editor]
Valmorba is inside the Mortuary, preparing corpses to be placed in coffins. She tells the party she is busy, and that it will be a while before any new bodies can be buried.
If the party have read Tough Letter back in Act One, Valmorba can be asked about the grave of an 'M Kurwin'. She gladly points out his grave "under the great willow with drooping branches".
If the party dig up and fight Bugthimble, and his fellow Kobolds, she is grateful that the bodies can rest now, but wishes there was another way instead of killing.
The party can humorously ask for a Shovel and claim to tidy up the graves.
- I'm not joking and I'm done asking. Give me a shovel. (DC 18)
- The kobolds made a real mess out there. I'd like to help clean it up. (DC 15) (If the kobolds have been met)
- I need it to tidy up some of the older graves. I hate to see them neglected. (DC 18)
Failing any check angers Valmorba such that she does not talk to the party again.

- Valmorba is listed as a High Half-Elf in-game but her appearance suggests otherwise.
