• Your old wound is wracking your body with an intense, mysterious pain.

Notes

The Mysterious Sharran Wound is a condition exclusive to  Shadowheart. It lasts for 1 turn and activates at several points during the story. The following events are known to trigger it:

• Convincing  Kagha to release  Arabella.
• Shadowheart looking at the broken  Selûne statue in the ⁠Blighted Village OR reading the  Old Schoolbook (these are mutually exclusive).
• Opening the gilded chest in the ⁠Owlbear Nest.
• Letting the  Owlbear Cub live.
• Shadowheart revealing to the player character, that she worships  Shar, (only if she is persuaded or intimidated).
• Shadowheart sharing the wolf vision.
• Convincing Shadowheart to use the  Noblestalk found in the ⁠Underdark, in order to attempt to heal her memories.
• Curing  Thulla's poison.
• Receiving  Blessing of Selûne from  Isobel.
• Entering ⁠Candulhallow's Tombstones.
• Allowing a party member other than Shadowheart to complete the Soft-Step Trial in the ⁠Gauntlet of Shar.
• Freeing  Yurgir from his contract.
• Visiting the ⁠Philgrave's Mansion room filled with corpses.

Shadowheart may automatically unequip whatever Handwear she's wearing whenever her wound triggers.
