Shadowfell

The everlasting shrouds and shadows of the Shadowfell

The Shadowfell is a plane of shadows and claimed as the domain of Shar. It is a Location that can be visited through the Gauntlet of Shar in Act Two. Similar to the Astral Plane, gravity is weaker than on the material plane and it is easily possible to jump great distances through the shattered terrain.

Overview

The party will travel to the Shadowfell during the quest Find the Nightsong. The main feature of this area is the Nightsong's Prison at the very bottom of the path. There Balthazar has chained Template:Charlink. The party will have to decide her fate. And this has an important influence on Shadowhert'ss personal Quest The Chosenm of Shar.

Regardless of the outcome, taking the portal to the Shadowfell is a point of no return and will lock the party out of several quests and locations. After the Shadowfell the party must confront Ketheric Thorm at Moonrise Towers.
