Expert Divination

Expert Divination is a Divination School Wizard passive feature that grants an additional Portent Die and allows you to fulfill prophecies to restore any spent Portent Dice each short rest. These prophecies typically entail casting a spell from a specific school or dealing a specific type of damage.

Description

You gain an additional Portent Die. When taking a Short Rest you receive a set of Prophecies. Complete them to regain missing Portent Dice.

• Class level 6: Divination School Wizard

Notes

• This feature increases your maximum number of Portent Dice to 3.
• After short resting, you will receive a random prophecy for each spent Portent Die. Fulfilling this prophecy will restore the die with a new, random value.
• The different possible prophecies are:
  • Deal a specific damage type:  Prophecy: Burn After Reading,  Prophecy: Frosty Reception,  Prophecy: Shocking Revelation,  Prophecy: Thunderous Applause,  Prophecy: Forceful Insistence,  Prophecy: Grave Fate,  Prophecy: Venomous Words,  Prophecy: Headache,  Prophecy: Holy Epiphany,  Prophecy: Melting Pot,  Prophecy: A Blunt Tool,  Prophecy: A Little Prick,  Prophecy: Cutting Edge.
  • Cast a spell from a specific school:  Prophecy: Guarded,  Prophecy: A Little Help,  Prophecy: Predictable,  Prophecy: Spellbinding,  Prophecy: Evocative,  Prophecy: Feign Surprise,  Prophecy: Dead Right,  Prophecy: Changes.
  •  Prophecy: Well-Read: Learn or cast a spell using a scroll.
  •  Prophecy: Delivering Alms:  Help an ally. This prophecy seems to be bugged and cannot be fulfilled. ^{[Needs Verification]}.
