Involvement edit

Benferlaen's corpse can be found in cave underneath the Open Hand Temple.

Benferlaen was killed by  Orin the Red and his body (along with bodies of  Blue Connor Balkosc,  Enris Kellem,  Liron Dustclotter and  Penela Lumpensicks) used as a component of Orin's "art" as an effigy to Illasera, a Bhaalspawn defeated more than a century ago.

Within the game files, Benferlaen and his fellows-in-misery are called "Fake Black Reavers". Black Reaver was a common name for the members of Illasera's retinue, accompanying her during the fights.
