About elves

Elves are an ancient and long-lived people, their origins entwined with the  Feywild and the primal magic of the world. Possessed of keen senses and unearthly grace, they move through life with a patience born of centuries. Elven societies prize art, poetry, and arcane study, preserving traditions that stretch back to lost empires and forgotten ages. To other races, their measured speech and distant composure can seem aloof, yet beneath it lies deep feeling and fierce loyalty.

Across Faerûn, elven cultures differ — from reclusive woodland kin who guard ancestral forests to cosmopolitan high elves devoted to scholarship and spellcraft. Though diminished from their ancient heights, elves remain bound to memory and legacy, carrying the weight of history even as they carve careful paths into the future.

The Feywild casts a veil over your mind. You have  Advantage on  Saving Throws against being  Charmed, and magic can't put you to  Sleep.
