Protection from Energy is a level 3 abjuration spell. This spell allows spellcasters to grant a creature they touch Resistance to an element of their choice.

Description

Touch a creature to grant it Resistance to Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Thunder damage. Lasts until a Long Rest.

Casting this spell at a higher level does not grant any benefits.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class Level 5: Cleric , Druid , Sorcerer , and Wizard

• Class Level 9: Ranger , Oath of the Ancients Paladin , and Oath of Vengeance Paladin

Notes

• Circle of the Land Druids who choose the Desert Land at level 5 learn this spell automatically.
