Xargrim was in charge of discovering how to operate the forge, and he magically concealed his notes on it the subject within the book [[Flumph Mating Rituals]]. Eventually the 3 explorers turned on one another, with Xargrim releasing a [[Spectator]] on Dhourn and his hired mercenaries.
