Not to be confused with The Clover

Fist Clover is a human ranger and a member of the Flaming Fist. She can be found in Lower City in Act Three.
Hey, good-looking. Behave yourself, yeah? I'd hate to see someone as pretty as you in cuffs.
Clover

Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

Clover patrols the territory of the Basilisk Gate Barracks from the entrance and inside to the far wall, climbing up the wooden ramparts gallery. If spoken to, she reacts a bit more casual than other Fists on duty, expressing a special attitude to characters of races uncommon to the city:

  • To a rarely-met race[1]: Well, hello. I've never seen anyone as interesting as yourself. Behave, yeah? I'd hate to see someone as pretty as you in cuffs.
  • To an Underdark-origin character: Well, hello. We don't get too many visitors from down below. Behave, yeah? I'd hate to see someone as pretty as you in cuffs.
  • To a Half-Orc character: Your arms are like tree trunks - they're amazing! Kindly behave yourself while you're here, yeah? I don't fancy my chances if I have to tackle you.

Clover also occasionally talks to Fist MurphyFist Murphy (who endures his punishment at the barracks' entrance), obviously being tasked to check on him. She mostly reproaches him, but also feels sympathetic, as she had previously experienced the same punishment herself, and offers to sneak him some lunch.

Idle banter[edit section | visual editor]

  • Murphy
Can I put my leg down yet?
  • Clover
Nope - you're still in Blaze Portyr's bad books.
  • Murphy
    But I - I can't feel my leg!
  • Clover
You stole coin, you dingus. What did you expect would happen?
  • Clover
I'm impressed. I fell on my arse the first time Blaze Portyr made me do that.
  • Murphy
Does that mean I can put my leg down?
  • Clover
    Nope.
  • Murphy
    Damn it.
  • Murphy
Here to yell at me, I presume?
  • Clover
I came to check on you. How are you holding up?
  • Murphy
    I'm fine.
  • Clover
Liar. I'll see about sneaking you some lunch.
  • Murphy
    Thank you!
  • Clover
All right, Murphy, five more minutes and your punishment is over. (If Gortash has been defeated.)
  • Murphy
I'm getting off easy? What happened, has the Blaze gone soft?
  • Clover
Not likely. Lord Gortash has been killed, so it's all hands on deck. Punishment duty can wait.
