Confusion is a level 4 enchantment spell. It allows the caster to confuse a group of creatures, drastically reducing their effectiveness in combat.

Description

Befuddle a group of creatures, causing them to attack at random, wander around aimlessly, and occasionally skip turns in the stupor.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class level 7: Bard, Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard, Knowledge Domain (Domain Spell), Circle of the Spores (Circle Spell), and Circle of the Land (Coast)

Granted by items:

• Orphic Ring ( Recharge: Long rest)

Other ways to learn:

• Granted to Warlocks who choose the Eldritch Invocation  Dreadful Word at level 7+.
• Wizards with  Level 4 Spell Slots can transcribe a  Scroll of Confusion to their spellbooks.

Notes

• This spell does not target allies who are included in the area of effect.
• The incantation for Confusion is Demento Te, Latin for "I madden you".
