Minthara Baenre is a Drow Paladin of the Absolute who is a potential Companion or antagonist in Baldur's Gate 3. She can be found at the Shattered Sanctum inside the Goblin Camp, planning an attack on the Druid Grove in the name of the Absolute. If helped, the player can start a brief Romance with her.
Personality
Being a Drow and follower of the Absolute, Minthara has a highly hostile and cruel attitude towards other beings, considering pretty much everyone as inferior beings. She has a special disdain for those who do not share her beliefs, and as a drow noble, she holds drow characters in high regard.
Despite her apparent devotion, a player who romances her can find that she has doubts regarding the Absolute and its actions.

Romance
If you sided with her, you'll meet her at the Party where she'll offer you a night of intercourse. Should the player accept, they'll meet later that night in the altar nearby camp. The player can either take charge or let her take charge during the scene.
Regardless of who takes the dominant position, the player will wake up with a naked Minthara's on their arms. Then, they can use illithid powers to probe her mind which she'll disapprove of.
Mind-probed or not, Minthara will confess that she's been ordered to kill the player. The player can then attempt to dissuade Minthara from this. If the player succeeds, she will recommend them to not go to the Goblin Camp again due to them having orders to kill the player, and bid farewell until they meet again.
Trivia
- Minthara is voiced by Emma Gregory.
