Sacred Pool

The Sacred Pool hosts the Idol of Silvanus, and is the heart of the Druid Grove.

The Sacred Pool is a Location contained within the Druid Grove in Chapter One. It connects The Hollow to the Emerald Grove and allows access to the Secluded Cove.

This sacred area is home to the Idol of Silvanus and the stage for druidic rituals such as the Rite of Thorns. Outsiders are not welcome here, though certain individuals may be permitted entry.

Access

Main entry to the Sacred Pool is by descending the staircase from The Hollow at X:251 Y:547.

Alternate entry is through the elevator in the southern ramparts of the Druid Grove at X:242 Y:480 which is initially blocked by a sleeping bear.

  • If the player approaches from the main entry, they will see the druids blocking the way. A cutscene will depict a confrontation between the druids and the tieflings over this. The tieflings Locke and Komira plead that their daughter Arabella is being held against her will, granting the Save Arabella quest.
  • After this confrontation, attempting to enter the Sacred Pool will be granted to the party as Kagha wishes to speak with them.
  • Encounter Volo for the first time, and offer to share your tale of the goblin attack. He acts as a trader and offers a unique magic ring.
  • Pass through the Sacred Pool and exit to the east to find Alfira the bard, or head to the Secluded Cove.
