Ebonlake Grotto (also known as the Myconid Colony) is a location within the Underdark in Act One. It is the home of the Myconid Circle, a group of mushroom-like telepaths led by Sovereign Spaw, which serves as a Waypoint Waypoint:

Myconid Minefield[edit | edit source]

In the south-east area of the grotto, this area contains many dangerous mushrooms such as Timmask, Bibberbang and Torchstalk. Setting off fire spells or torchstalks in this area can cause a chain reaction of explosions.

Guardian Gate[edit | edit source]

As reward for the quest Defeat the Duergar Intruders, Sovereign Spaw will unlock the gate. It can otherwise be destroyed to enter the room beyond, but not lock-picked. Inside is some loot and a Pale Corpse which can be spoken to with Speak with Dead Speak with Dead.
