Panache: Disadvantage
Duration: 10 turns

Condition: Charmed
How to learn
Classes:
- Class level 9: Swashbuckler
Notes
- This action involves a contested skill check similar to Shove. See Contests for details. In particular, the character rolls a Persuasion skill check with a DC equal to the target's passive Insight score which is given by
10 + Wisdom modifier + proficiency bonus (if proficient) + other bonuses.
Advantage on Insight checks (or Wisdom checks in general) gives a +5 flat bonus to this DC, while Disadvantage reduces the DC by 5.
- It is not stated anywhere, but the Panache: Disadvantage condition is removed when any creature other than the Swashbuckler attacks or targets the affected entity with a harmful ability.
- It is not stated on the action, but in higher difficulty modes, the target might accuse the caster of enchanting them.
Bugs
- Enemies with the War Caster or Polearm Master feats still take Opportunity Attacks when otherwise affected by this feature.
