Plant

From bg3.wiki

Plants are a type of creature that are plant-like or fungal in nature. They can be found throughout Baldur's Gate 3, most notably in the Underdark in Act One, or in shadow-cursed form during Act Two.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Plant creatures are creatures that have plant-like features like wood and bark or fungal features like fruiting bodies, but are able to rapidly move and even attack, unlike typical plants. Most plant creatures are non-sentient, but some of the fungi encountered in Baldur's Gate 3 such as the Myconid are indeed sentient.

Most plant creatures usually have an aversion to fire, and as such are vulnerable to Damage TypesFire damage. In addition, the spell Blight Blight is unique in that it always deals maximum damage to Plant creatures.
