Jaheira is a Half-Elf Druid who will appear in Baldur's Gate 3 as a Companion. She is a returning companion from Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.

Recruitment

Jaheira can be fully recruited only after you have defeated Ketheric Thorm. Until then she is only a temporary companion. If the Last Light Inn is destroyed but you are still allied with her you can offer her to stay at your camp. She will do so but will not be available as a companion until Act 3.

Act Three

Rivington

  • Volunteer a companion, other than her, to Dribbles' show
  • Tell Fist Rowan "They're innocent people. You can't just kill them!"
  • Tell Tinker Nayzeem that the way people treat refugees is terrible.
  • As a Baldurian, tell Saer Grotpoll that his accent sounds more Rivington than Baldur's Gate (Jaheira approves +1)
  • Try to help the Dying Stone Lord Thug (Jaheira approves +1)
  • Donate 500 gold for refugees to Manip Nestor.
  • Take the Cursed Monk's curse and withstand it.
  • Persuade Angry Mar'hyah (found near the post office) to let you keep Scratch.
  • Deceive Angry Mar'hyah about animal abuse rules.

Wyrm's Crossing

Camp/Conversation

  • When you ask about her past experiences with the Dead Three and when she has answered as your wise and wizened elder, say "Please. You're only one of those things."
  • Tell her "Who are you speaking to? Maybe I'm the parasite, puppeting this body." while asking about her past.
  • After the event at Danthelon's Dancing Axe, agree to look for Minsc.
  • After reaching Lower City, ask wether she interested with Gortash offer.
  • Call her ancient.
  • Say that Orin is trying to make you paranoid (Nature check required)
  • Tell her that her experience will be an asset

Disapproval

Concentration Icons.png Spoiler warning! This section reveals details about the story of Baldur's Gate 3.

Act Three

  • Say "All hail the High Harper!" when you chose her as Dribbles' assistant, revealing her secret organisation affiliation to the entire crowd

Trivia

  • Jaheira is voiced by Tracy Wiles, replacing Heidi Shannon from previous games.
  • Unlike other companions, Jaheira, alongside Minsc, was revealed in a trailer at the Video Game Awards 2022.
  • It was first revealed in an article that she and Minsc would be recruitable, but that they would not be available as Origin Characters.
  • Jaheira has multiple references to her past voice lines, such as "Nature's servant awaits".
  • Before going into Moonrise Towers she quotes Alaundo the Seer (...so sayeth the wise Alaundo). His prophecy was a central point in the first Baldur's Gate game.
