Shuurga

From bg3.wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Shuurga is a half-orc wizard and Manip serving as an officer of the Flaming Fist. She led a small group of Fists to rescue Ulder Ravengard Grand Duke Ravengard, but was captured and sent to the Mind Flayer Colony to be transformed.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Mind Flayer Colony[edit | edit source]

Shuurga can be encountered in Act Two, where she is imprisoned within a transformation pod inside of the Mind Flayer Colony Close to her are Yeva Gauntlet Yeva and Zevlor Zevlor in their own pods, as well as a handful of newly-transformed Mind Flayer Mind Flayers. Interacting with a nearby terminal allows the party to release her and all other prisoners, or kill all the occupants. Releasing her starts a fight with the Mind Flayers where Shuurga assists the party.

If surviving, Shuurga thanks the party and asks if Ulder Ravengard Duke Ravengard has been saved, before immediately coming to the conclusion that he has yet to be saved all by herself. Nearby, Yeva remarks that half of the Flaming Fists who were originally on this mission were either killed or transformed into the Mind Flayers they just defeated. Shuurga then presumably escapes the Mind Flayer Colony with Zevlor and Yeva.[1]

Notes[edit | edit source]

  1. Only if Zevlor and Yeva survive, as Zevlor says he will look for survivors and bring them out of there.
  • Shuurga is presumably the Manip that Florrick Counsellor Florrick ordered Gauntlet Yeva to report to for reinforcements in order to rescue Ravengard. The only other plausible alternative is Vidor Manip Vidor, who remains at Florrick's side throughout their appearances in Act Two.
  • Despite being a wizard, having a caster archetype, and eight levels' worth of spell slots, Shuurga has no spells or cantrips to cast and is forced to fight with melee.
  • Despite being a half-orc, Shuurga has none of the racial features that come with being one.
  • Shuurga is mechanically naked and wears no armour; the Flaming Fist chain mail that she wears is purely cosmetic.
  • Shuurga's portrait is special in how it has a unique pose that is not found in any other half-orc portrait in the game.
