Full-illithid

A Full-Illithid is a character who has undergone complete ceremorphosis and become a Mind Flayer. This option will only become available after travelling to the Astral Plane during the quest Confront the Elder Brain.

The player character, Orpheus or Karlach may undergo the full transformation[Needs Verification].

Changes

Player-characters and Karlach will still have access to their previous set of abilities and proficiencies. Orpheus will only have access to his illithid powers.

Ability score and physical changes

  • Strength will increase to 13 (higher scores will not change)
  • Dexterity will change
  • Constitution will change to 14
  • Intelligence will increase to 20 (higher scores will not change)
  • Wisdom will increase to 18 (higher scores will not change)
  • Charisma will change to 18, or if previously higher will be decreased to 20.
  • Race will change to Mind Flayer
  • Type will change from humanoid to Aberration
  • Weight will change to 60kg
  • Hit Points, initiative, armour class and carrying capacity may change in accordance with ability changes.

As a full-illithid, a character may now unlock any of the regular illithid powers, provided they had already had access to the illithid-power menu. As well, they automatically gain some more powerful versions of regular powers:
