Dire Raven Companion is a variant of Summon Companion Summon Companion which is a Subclass Feature of Rangers learned immediately upon choosing the Beast Master subclass. This ability allows the Beast Master to call upon their animal companion to fight and aid them in combat.

Summon a Dire Raven companion that can cover great distances and Blind enemies.

  • Beak Attack Beak Attack: Peck at a target, dealing 2d4+2Damage TypesPiercing damage.
  • Rend Vision Rend Vision: Attack a creature's eyes to deal 1d6+2Damage TypesPiercing damage and Blind Blind it.
  • Prey's Scent Prey's Scent: You deal an additional D6 Physical.png1d6 damage to creatures marked by your Ranger's Hunter's Mark Hunter's Mark

Your dire raven companion has 13 Hit Points and 16 Armour Class Armour Class. It is also proficient in Perception. Of note is that this companion won't cause NPC's to flee in terror.

Ability Upgrade: The damage of its Beak Attack Beak Attack increases by 1d4. New Ability:

Your Dire Raven companion now has 21 Hit Points and 19 Armour Class Armour Class. Its Constitution increases by 2.

Your Dire Raven companion now has 32 Hit Points and 19 Armour Class Armour Class.

Ability Upgrade: The extra damage added at level 5 increases from 1d4 to 1d6.

New Ability:

  • On Black Wings On Black Wings: Summons two Lvl 3 Ravens allied to you. You cannot control the ravens.
  • Raven Sight Raven Sight: The dire raven can no longer be Blinded Blinded.
  • Fly Fly: Fly to a target location and create a cloud of Darkness Darkness on the spot that it lands

Your Dire Raven companion now has 44 Hit Points and 21 Armour Class Armour Class. Its Wisdom increases by 2, and its Charisma increases by 2.
