The Decrepit Sanctuary (also known as the Druid Sanctuary) is a Location within the Putrid Bog in Act One of Baldur's Gate 3. It is a secluded island with a massive tree stump in the center, infested with Ancient Mud Mephits and Wood Woads.

Overview

If the illusion over the Sunlit Wetlands has not been dispelled, this area is known as the Druid Sanctuary.

To reach the Sanctuary, a chain of small islands must be jumped jumped across. At the furthest, largest island, the party will likely be attacked by the Mephits and Woads living there. There is plenty of Difficult Terrain including deep water, mud (Mephits will add onto the latter through their attacks or deaths), and Entangling Entangling vines.

Despite the island being quite barren, there are a few magical items here.
