Amanita Szarr, later known as Lady Incognita, was a prolific author on vampiric matters.

She records her own history in notes labelled 1477. According to these notes, Amanita Szarr was invited to Cazador's Palace at thirteen, where she was invited into the ballroom for the first time.[1] She was later transformed into a Vampire, but refused to participate in what she called 'the family rites'. In punishment she was imprisoned in the attic.[2] Amanita rejected the name of Amanita Szarr after her damnation. She renamed herself Lady Incognita, and elected to remain in the attic.[3]
