Arcane Shots
(Redirected from Arcane Shot)
Arcane Shots are a set of class actions available to the Arcane Archer Subclass starting at Level 3. They are powerful attacks that use Arcane Arrow to add additional effects to range attacks. They are recovered on Short Rest and are available in high numbers, allowing them to be used much more frequently than many other spells and class abilities.
Save DC[edit | edit source]
- If the arcane shot requires a save DC, the DC will be equal to 8 + your Proficiency Modifier + your Intelligence modifier
Arcane Arrows[edit | edit source]
Arcane Arrows are recovered to their maximum value on either a Short Rest or Long Rest. As the Arcane Archer's level increases both the number of Arcane Arrows available, and the number of Arcane Shots known increase.

Bugs[edit | edit source]
- Piercing Arrow and Seeking Arrow interact with Damage Riders differently than the other arcane shots due to the lack of an attack roll. As a result, bonus damage from the Titanstring Bow and from Sharpshooter: All In are not applied, despite the tooltip showing otherwise. However, other Damage Riders that function similarly to a Dipped weapon or Lightning Charges do have their bonus damage applied with these arrows.
- Due to an incorrectly used
DamageBonusfunction, the bonus damage that Arcane Shots deliver on striking an enemy can never critically hit.
