Defence is a fighting style passive feature.

Description

You gain a +1 bonus to  Armour Class while wearing Armour.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class level 1: Fighter
• Class level 2: Ranger and Paladin

Used by creatures:

• Apostle of Myrkul, Har'rak, Ketheric Thorm, Losiir, Minthara, Skoona, Varanna Sunblossom, Zevlor, Zombie Minthara

Notes

• This effect is active while wearing anything marked as light, medium, or heavy armour in any equipment slot.
• This fighting style is generally weaker than the other, more specialized fighting styles such as  Duelling or  Archery.
  • It is, however, highly useful for Champion Fighters who get to choose a second fighting style.
  • Since the benefit of  Great Weapon Fighting becomes less effective when paired with  Savage Attacker or  Brace (Melee) a warrior using two-handed weapons may instead want to take Defence.
