Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

Act Three[edit section | visual editor]

Emen is playing in the Bloomridge Park with his friend ConallConall. He and Conall were happily playing ball in the park, until Conall threw it far aside, right into the fountain bowl. Now both kids are arguing about which one of them should go and bring it back.

If spoken with, Emen complains his friend threw the ball into the water and does not want to fetch it. However, he does not ask the party to do it instead of Conall. The party may take the ball themselves and return it to the boys, but if they do this, they risk stepping into an ambush set up by the Bhaal cultists.

Idle banter[edit section | visual editor]

  • Emen
    Conall! You lost my ball!
  • Conall
I thought it was our ball.
  • Emen
No, it was a present for me, so it's my ball! And you lost it.
  • Conall
    Prove it.
  • Emen
Prove what? The ball's right there.
  • Emen
Pleaaaaasssse go and get our ball, Conall. I want to play.
  • Conall
I thought it was your ball. Get it yourself.
  • Emen
    No! YOU THREW IT!
  • Conall
I'm not fetching it. Don't want to get wet.
  • Emen
Well then we're not friends anymore. I'm not talking to you until you get it back.
  • Conall
Not if I stop talking to you first!
  • Conall
Where did you say the ball was?
  • Emen
    In the fountain! There!
  • Conall
Ahh, but if you can see it, that means I can't have lost it, right?
  • Emen
Don't be mean, Conall, you know I don't like brain-riddles.
  • Emen
    Makes my head hurt.
