Monk is a character Class in Baldur's Gate 3. Monks are unarmed combatants capable of spending Ki Points to perform special abilities. Monk's key ability scores are Wisdom, Dexterity, and Constitution.
The Monk Subclasses are: Way of the Four Elements, Way of the Open Hand, Way of Shadow
Class Information
- Level 1 Maximum Hit Points: 8 + Modifier
- Hit points at higher levels: 5 + Modifier

Ki is a resource specific to Monk. It is used to cast certain abilities that the Monk class can learn.
At level 1, the Monk starts with 2 charges of Ki, and gain one more every subsequent level. Expended Charges can be restored by taking a short rest, or, if the Monk's subclass is Way of the Four Elements, they can use Harmony of Fire and Water.

- Attacks with Monk Weapons and unarmed attacks scale with your Dexterity instead of your Strength if your Dexterity is higher.
- Martial Arts: Deft Strikes
- Attacks with Monk Weapons and unarmed attacks deal 1d4 Bludgeoning damage, unless their normal damage is higher.
- Martial Arts: Unarmed Strike
- After making an attack with a Monk Weapon or while unarmed, you can make another unarmed attack as a bonus action.
