Infernal Iron is a metal superficially similar to iron produced in the Nine Hells. It is used to manufacture all kinds of infernal-touched items, such as the Helldusk set.

This dented piece of black metal has a red shine to it, no matter the lighting. Faint screams echo through your mind whenever you touch it.

Usage
Item crafting
If given a piece of infernal alloy at the Last Light Inn, Dammon forges (in order):
Flawed Helldusk Armour
Flawed Helldusk Helmet
Flawed Helldusk Gloves
- Normally, asking Dammon to create Flawed Helldusk Armour, the Flawed Helldusk Helmet or Flawed Helldusk Gloves requires a piece of Infernal Iron. However, there is currently a bug in the game where, if selecting the conversation option, "I found this metal in a place called Grymforge - what do you make of it?", Dammon forges a Flawed Helldusk item without taking a piece of Infernal Iron away from the player character's inventory.
Quests
- Infernal Iron is needed for Karlach's companion quest, .
- Giving Dammon a piece of Infernal Iron in the Druid Grove allows him to upgrade Karlach's infernal engine, granting her the passive feature.
- Later, when meeting Dammon again at the Last Light Inn blacksmith, he can be given another piece of Infernal Iron to further upgrade Karlach's infernal engine, replacing her previous bonus with .
