Act Three[edit section | visual editor]

Huido and his gang are at the docks beneath The Lodge, north of the Grey Harbour Docks waypoint. If a party member approaches Huido, a conversation with him is triggered. He then tells the party to leave, explaining that he is waiting for the Guild to pick up their shipment. A party member can lie to Huido and say they are from the guild, then pay 1000 gold to loot the shipment. Or, they can intimidate Huido:

[1]
  • Big Huido
Two words - Guild business. Only an idiot gets between them and their shipments.
    • [INTIMIDATION] Hand over that shipment, or the Guild will be the least of your problems (DC 15) (if not a Fighter or Barbarian)
    • [FIGHTER] [INTIMIDATION] Hand over that shipment, or I'll start breaking bones. (DC 15 Advantage Icon.png)
    • [BARBARIAN] [INTIMIDATION] Give me that shipment or die. Choose. (DC 15 Advantage Icon.png)
    • [DECEPTION] I'm actually with the Guild - I'm here to pick up that shipment. (DC 15) (if not a Bard or Rogue)
    • [ROGUE] [DECEPTION] I'm actually with the Guild - I'm here to pick up that shipment. (DC 15 Advantage Icon.png)
    • [BARD] [DECEPTION] You didn't hear? I'm the new Guild representative. I've been trying to get my hands on that shipment. (DC 15 Advantage Icon.png)

Afterwards, it is possible loot the nearby wooden trunk and crate and take the three barrels of Firewine. However, this is still interpreted as stealing. Passing a second Intimidation check and asking Huido to turn out his pockets results in him handing over a small amount of gold.

[1]
  • Big Huido
Easy, mate. We're humble smugglers, all right? So just - just take whatever you want.
    • [INTIMIDATION] Empty your pockets, too. Now. (DC 20) (if not a Barbarian or Rogue)
    • [ROGUE] [INTIMIDATION] Empty your pockets, too. Now. (DC 20 Advantage Icon.png)
    • [BARBARIAN] [INTIMIDATION] Turn out your pockets too. NOW. (DC 20 Advantage Icon.png)

Failing either check, or getting too close to the shipment, turns Huido and his gang hostile.

Lastly, the player character can simply choose to attack them:

[1]
  • Big Huido
Oh! Why didn't you lead with that? I trust you're gonna balance the books too, yeah?
    • I think I'll just look your corpses instead.
  • Big Huido
Two words - Guild business. Only an idiot gets between them and their shipments.
    • How about I just kill you and take everything?
