Involvement

Act Three

Siggy can be found in the Blushing Mermaid in the Lower City attempting to convince  Svend to skip his date because their ship leaves port at first light. Svend insists that he will return on time, despite the recent dangers in the city. The party can interact with them to convince Svend to go on his date or stay with Siggy. A passive  DC 15 Insight Check reveals that Siggy has more feelings for Svend than just those of a friend.

Passing a  DC 7 Persuasion Check convinces Svend to stay and grants the ⁠Playing Sune inspiration to party members with the  Entertainer background.

Idle banter

• Siggy

  You know the captain won't wait for you, right?

• Svend

  Yes, I have sailed with him before. Many times.

• Siggy

  Just be sure you're back before dawn.

• Svend

  Yeah, yeah.

• Svend

  Stop worrying.

• Siggy

  I'm not!

• Svend

  Yes you are - that's your worried face.

After Svend is convinced to cancel his date and stay inside the Mermaid, the banter between him and Siggy changes.

• Svend

  Are you sure you don't want another drink?

• Siggy

  Only if you're buying.

• Svend

  You know there might be room in the hammock tonight for two?

• Siggy

  I'm sure the cook would be happy to share with you - so long as you like the smell of ham.

• Svend

  You wound me!

• Siggy

  So do you every time you speak. Now finish your drink.

• Svend's "date" may be  Mask of Servitude, who has been luring multiple people daily while under the thrall of  Auntie Ethel.
