More actions
Camp followers are characters that travel with the player’s party and they often remain at camp. Unlike companions, they cannot be asked to join the party.
They usually fulfill certain roles, such as resurrecting dead players or providing lore.

Withers
can be paid to purchase Scrolls of Revivify, revive dead companions, or change a companion's class.
SkeletonVolothamp Geddarm,
a wizard who attempts to remove the tadpole. He can also sell scrolls and camping supplies.
HumanBarcus Wroot accompanies the party to Moonrise Towers if rescued from both the Blighted Village and Grymforge.

Arabella,
part of a small questline involving her parents. Will accompany the party until they reach Baldur's Gate.

will stay with her girlfriend until the party defeats Lorroakan.

will stay if he was rescued.

will stay with her husband if they were rescued by Shadowheart.

an orphaned owlbear who can eventually help the party defeat the Netherbrain.

People
- Withers: Can be found and awakened at the Dank Crypt, but will arrive at camp by himself a short ways into Act 1 if not found here.
- Volo: Can be found at the Secluded Grove and later rescued from goblins at the Goblin Camp.
- Barcus Wroot: The party has to first rescue him at Moonhaven and later at Grymforge.
- Arabella: Can be found infront of the House of Healing graveyard.
Pets
- Scratch: northeast of Moonhaven.
- Owlbear cub: in a cave near the entrance of Moonhaven. The party has to enter, meet the Owlbear's mother, then leave and enter again. Later, it can be found at the Goblin Camp where the player character can agree to play Chicken Chase or just persuade the goblins to release the cub. It'll take many rests for the Owlbear to arrive.
