During Baldur's Gate 3, many story related events happen at the Campsite. These are almost always triggered upon doing a Long Rest, but some of them automatically happen upon reaching certain triggers. Sometimes, several events can be queued if all of their requirements are met. Below is a list of these events and their requirements, if there are any.

Act I[edit | edit source]

Astarion sneaks away from camp[edit | edit source]

Requirements: None

Consequences: This event happens during one of your earlier Long Rests. Astarion Astarion can be seen sneaking away from camp while the party is asleep.

Requirements: None

No matter the outcome of the dialogue, she stays the night at the camp, but is killed by the Dark Urge at night. The Dark Urge then has to either hide the body through succeding a DC 12 stealth Strength check or convince their companions they were innocent through succeding a Persuasion check. Consequences: Sceleritas Fel Sceleritas Fel, the butler to the Dark Urge, appears before them and congratulates them on the murder of Alfira or Quil. He then gives the Dark Urge the The Deathstalker Mantle as a reward.

Consequences: Voss Voss arrives at camp and attempts to sway Lae'zel Lae'zel to his side after the events of the Creche. The player character can push Lae'zel to either agree or disagree, potentially putting her on her Orpheus path.

Requirements: Completing Kill Raphael's Old Enemy.

Consequences: Raphael Raphael holds up his end of the bargain and explains Astarion Astarion's scars to him in exchange for killing Yurgir Yurgir.

Visited by Ogres[edit | edit source]

Requirements: Getting Lump's War horn, agreeing to pay the Ogres and entering Act 2.

Consequences: The Ogres appear in camp, if you never called them and never paid their debt.

Slayer form[edit | edit source]

Requirements: Isobel Isobel surviving the abduction at Last Light Inn, and Sceleritas Fel Sceleritas Fel visiting the camp and wants the Dark Urge to kill her

Consequences: If killing Isobel, the protection of the Last Light Inn ends and the Dark Urge obtains the Slayer form. If not killing Isobel, then Sceleritas Fel wants the player character to kill their partner or, if the player character did not romance any companion, the companion with the highest approval rating. If resisting, the player character does not obtain Slayer form.

Ambushed by vampire spawn[edit | edit source]

Requirements: Long resting during Act 3.

Consequences: Astarion Astarion's siblings attack the party at camp.

Emperor dream[edit | edit source]

Consequences: The The Emperor Emperor reflects on its past life.

Requirements: Completing Visit the Emperor's Old Hideout Visit the Emperor's Old Hideout, knowing about Belynne Stelmane's murder.

Consequences: There will be an option to have a romance scene with the Emperor.

Jaheira's and Minsc's reunion[edit | edit source]

Requirements: Long resting after Minsc Minsc and Jaheira Jaheira have been recruited.

Consequences: After Minsc is rescued from the Absolute's domination, he and Jaheira have a brief confrontation at camp.

Mizora pact[edit | edit source]

Requirements: Recruiting Wyll. Talking with Mizora Mizora on Wyrm's Crossing bridge to Lower City after Enver Gortash Enver Gortash's coronation.

Consequences: Wyll has to chose, if he wants the pact with Mizora to endure till the end of his life and save his father Ulder Ravengard Ulder Ravengard, or if he wants to break the pact and ensure his father's death. This is part of The Grand Duke The Grand Duke and Wyll's personal quest.

Mizora romance[edit | edit source]

Requirements: Speaking to Mizora Mizora and allowing her to stay at camp.

Consequences: There is an option to have a romance scene with Mizora, potentially ending a relationship with a companion, if already partnered.

Orin kidnaps a companion[edit | edit source]

Consequences: Orin Orin abducts one of the companions.
