Sharess' Caress

Sharess' Caress is a location in Wyrm's Crossing in Act Three. It is a house of pleasure run by Mamzell Amira and Kira, named for Sharess the Faerûnian goddess of festhalls, hedonism, and sensual fulfillment.

Overview

Sharess' Caress can be found just inside and to the east of the southern entrance to Wyrm's Crossing.

Lower floors

From the main entrance, just inside the building is Mamzell Amira and Kira. Across from them is Hoots Hooligan who is tending bar. Nearby, Earspoon and Borgus Elamin can be found drinking and discussing Nine-Fingers Keene and Guild business; interacting with them can progress Aid the Underduke.

Behind a curtain to the south are the Drow twins, Sorn and Nym Orlith, who can be hired for an evening.

Arfur Gregorio may also be here, if he was previously encountered outside his house in Rivington, playing a role in the quest Investigate the Suspicious Toys.

Up on the balcony Valeria can be found celebrating at a table, if previously encountered at the Open Hand Temple. If the player has gathered evidence at Fraygo's Flophouse for the quest Solve the Open Hand Temple Murders, Valeria will give them a pass to enter the Lower City.

There is also a kitchen, where Sauceman Chorizo can sell the player a couple of Camp Supplies, and a basement down the stairs where a rat is planning a revolution.

Sharess' Caress Upper Floor

On the upper floor are several unique rooms for use by the workers: Nymph's Grotto, Elminster's Library, Devil's Den and the Underdark Pleasures.

Nymph's Grotto

In the grotto are Naoise Nallinto and a Flaming Fist. If the party enters the room and interrupts them, the Fist will undergo ceremorphosis and have to be fought. Afterwards, Naoise will give the player a Superior Elixir of Arcane Cultivation or the condition  Rapture. Accepting Naoise's proposition earns the Inspirational Event Exsanguinated Ecstasy (Haunted One background).

Elminster's Library

A pleasure den themed around schooling, knowledge, and bondage. Ffion's Journal can be found on a desk, providing a clue to advance the quest Find the 'Stern Librarian' Ffion.

Devil's Den

Inside the Devil's Den, Raphael and Kith'rak Voss are arguing. Once Voss leaves, Raphael will make an important proposal, initiating or progressing the quest Deal with the Devil.

Underdark Pleasures

A Room at the end of the terraced walkway and site of the encounter with the Drow twins, either Sorn or Nym, or both at the same time, if their services are acquired.

• Sharess's caress is also the name of an enchantment spell which overwhelms an evil creature by filling them with feelings of compassion and love.
