Natural Recovery is a Circle of the Land druid class action. This ability allows these druids to replenish a number of spell slots each long rest.

Description

Replenish expended Spell Slots while out of combat.

Available only out of combat.

At higher levels

• At level 3, unlock the ability to spend an  Action +  2 Natural Recovery Charges to replenish a  Level 2 Spell Slot.
• At level 5, unlock the ability to spend an  Action +  3 Natural Recovery Charges to replenish a  Level 3 Spell Slot.
• At level 7, unlock the ability to spend an  Action +  4 Natural Recovery Charges to replenish a  Level 4 Spell Slot.
• At level 9, unlock the ability to spend an  Action +  5 Natural Recovery Charges to replenish a  Level 5 Spell Slot.

Notes

• A Circle of the Land druid receives a number of  Natural Recovery Charges equal to class level divided by two, rounded up. For example, a level 5 druid will have  3 Natural Recovery Charges total.
• These charges replenish after a long rest.
• Recovering a spell slot costs a number of charges equal to the spell level. For example, recovering a  Level 3 Spell Slot costs  3 Natural Recovery Charges.
• The maximum spell level that can be replenished is capped at level 5 even though a level 11 or 12 druid will have 6 total charges.
• Unlike  Create Spell Slot, this action cannot add new spell slots, only replenish expended slots.
