Notes

  • This can trigger from any melee attack roll, including spells which require a melee attack roll, such as Inflict WoundsInflict Wounds and Vampiric TouchVampiric Touch.
  • When used with Vampiric TouchVampiric Touch, this bonus damage does not increase the siphoned healing amount.
  • Any spell with an attack roll can be turned into a melee attack spell with Daredevil ProximityDaredevil Proximity allowing them to also trigger Touch of Death.
    • In particular, Bone ChillBone Chill also benefits from ReaperReaper so it can make two melee attacks with a single cast while Daredevil Proximity is active. Touch of Death can be triggered against both targets, though this does require  2 Channel Divinity Charges as expected.

Bugs

  • The tooltip incorrectly displays the bonus damage as 5 + 2d12NecroticNecrotic at all Cleric levels. It is displayed correctly in the combat log.
  • A hidden technical condition, which is responsible for applying a visual effect to struck targets, triggers the passives from Boots of Stormy Clamour, Coldbrim Hat, and Diadem of Arcane Synergy.
