Fist Thadwick is a gruff Flaming Fist[1] under the command of Counsellor FlorrickCounsellor Florrick to rescue Duke RavengardDuke Ravengard during Act Two.

Last Light Inn edit

Initially on a mission led by FlorrickFlorrick to rescue Ulder RavengardUlder Ravengard, Thadwick and the rest of the Fists were waylaid by the dangers of the Shadow-Cursed Lands and found refuge with the Harpers at Last Light Inn. Thadwick can initially be found within the inn, in the same room as several other Fists, and Art CullaghArt Cullagh. He regards the party with disdain due to their infected nature and them not being a Flaming Fist.[2]

If Florrick is not rescued from Waukeen's Rest in Act One, Thadwick does not appear in the game.

Resolve the Abduction edit

When MarcusMarcus attacks the inn and attempts to kidnap IsobelIsobel during Resolve the AbductionResolve the Abduction, Thadwick is not affected by the ImpaledImpaled condition and is instead SurprisedSurprised. He may join the battle on his own without being affected by any conditions if the door to the room he is in is opened after the encounter starts. If Isobel is not saved, Thadwick and everyone in Last Light Inn, save JaheiraJaheira, turn into Shadow-Cursed UndeadShadow-Cursed Undead.

Leaving for Baldur's Gate edit

After a Long Rest, Thadwick, Manip VidorManip Vidor and Fist CyrilFist Cyril depart Last Light Inn for Baldur's Gate with Florrick to seek reinforcements unaffected by the Shadow Curse: the Steel WatchSteel Watch.

Thadwick is never seen again after departing.

  1. According to devnotes, Thadwick is particularly noted to be both rough and grumpy.
    Devnotes: Thadwick is a male dwarf and grumpy is his middle name. He's a bit rough and gruff and has little time for the player - an amateur in his eyes. He warms up to him slightly as we progress through the dialogue.
