Cyril is an emotive Flaming Fist[1] under the command of Counsellor FlorrickCounsellor Florrick to rescue Duke RavengardDuke Ravengard during Act Two.

Last Light Inn[edit | edit source]

Initially on a mission led by FlorrickFlorrick to rescue Ulder RavengardUlder Ravengard, Cyril and the rest of the Fists were waylaid by the dangers of the Shadow-Cursed Lands and found refuge with the Harpers at Last Light Inn. Cyril can initially be found within the inn, in the same room as several other Fists and Art CullaghArt Cullagh.

If Florrick is not rescued from Waukeen's Rest in Act One, Cyril does not appear in the game.

Resolve the Abduction[edit | edit source]

When MarcusMarcus attacks the inn and attempts to kidnap IsobelIsobel during Resolve the AbductionResolve the Abduction, Cyril is not affected by the ImpaledImpaled condition and is instead SurprisedSurprised. He may join the battle on his own without being affected by any conditions if the door to the room he is in is opened after the encounter starts. If Isobel is not saved, he and everyone in Last Light Inn, save JaheiraJaheira, turn into Shadow-Cursed UndeadShadow-Cursed Undead.

After the battle is over, Cyril takes up position in front of the door to the Flaming Fists' room alongside GrettaGretta. Speaking with him results in his disclosing he knew Marcus well and did not expect his betrayal.[2] He sorrowfully wonders if they could have helped Marcus and prevented him from joining the Cult of the Absolute.[3]

Leaving for Baldur's Gate[edit | edit source]

After a Long Rest, Cyril, Manip VidorManip Vidor and Fist ThadwickFist Thadwick depart Last Light Inn for Baldur's Gate with Florrick to seek reinforcements unaffected by the Shadow Curse: the Steel WatchSteel Watch.

Cyril is never seen again after his departure.
