Arkleia Oloril
Arkleia Oloril is the quartermaster of the Flaming Fist. She appears in Wyrm's Rock Fortress in Act Three.
Involvement[edit | edit source]
Arkleia Oloril appears in the Flaming Fist Office, in the off-limits section guarded by a Steel Watcher, accompanied by Manip Cragbender.
When the party first approach her, Quartermaster Oloril grumpily tells them to clear off. However, she can be convinced to act as a trader, and shows her stock of goods if the interacting party member uses one of following dialogue options:
- Gortash himself told me to speak with you about my requirements. Were you not informed? (DC 10)
- What if I were to pay for, say, a 'trading license' first? (pay 500 gold) (DC 15)
- Either you trade with me, or I suggest you start running. (DC 18)
- Seek the cause of her sour mood.
- Steel Watchers make me uneasy. A good weapon in my palm would put my mind at rest.
If the conversing character uses either Detect Thoughts or a Potion of Mind Reading, they learn Arkleia is in a bad mood, ruefully considering the Steel Watchers that take over various duties of the Flaming Fist. If the Steel Watch Foundry is destroyed, Arkleia then speaks of the automatons with gloating scorn and hopes the people will take their woes to the Fist once again.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Despite belonging to the Flaming Fist, Arkleia Oloril has the stats of a level 1 human commoner and is armed with only a common Shortsword.
- While being human herself, throughout the dialogue (and if her thoughts being read) Arkleia curses both Gortash and the Steel Watch in Infernal, calling them "mragreshem". This word is otherwise only used within the game by tieflings and, according to various devnotes in dialogue files, can be roughly translated as "shithead".
- When the battle against Gortash is initiated, she is the only Flaming Fist in the area who is merely Temporarily Hostile. If she is Knocked Out with Non-Lethal Attacks during this battle, she becomes neutral after long resting and can still be traded with.
