Constitution is an ability score. Constitution affects your maximum hit points and concentration saving throws.
Your Constitution modifier is added to the number of hit points gained per level (including negative values), and is applied retroactively.

Baldur's Gate 3 uses the Point Buy ruleset.

Ways to increase[edit | edit source]
The following items/entities can be consumed/used for a permanent bonus to Constitution:
- Auntie Ethel's Hair: +1 to any chosen ability
- Mirror of Loss: +2 to any chosen ability, up to a maximum of 24
The following feats can increase Constitution up to a base value of 20:
- Durable: +1 to Constitution
- Resilient: +1 to any chosen ability
- Tavern Brawler +1 to either Strength or Constitution
