Medicine is a Wisdom-based Skill.

The higher a creature's Wisdom Score, the more likely they will succeed on Medicine Checks to diagnose diseases or recognize illnesses.

Proficiency[edit section | visual editor]

Characters who are proficient in Medicine can add their Proficiency Bonus when making Ability CheckAbility Checks.

  • Used in dialogue.
  • Used for crafting extra materials with the Wizard Transmutation School feature Experimental Alchemy

Ways to boost or penalize[edit section | visual editor]

Raising or lowering Wisdom will also boost/penalize the Wisdom modifier (and therefore Medicine) by 1 every even number, up or down.
