Force of personality.Charisma is an ability score and the primary ability of Bards, Warlocks, and Sorcerers.
Charisma affects its related skills (Deception, Intimidation, Performance, Persuasion) and improves spellcasting for Bards, Paladins, Warlocks and Sorcerers (better chance to hit enemies with spell attack rolls; increases the Difficulty Class of spells with saving throws).
As of Early Access Patch 9, increasing one's Charisma Modifier also improves the prices offered by Traders (by increasing the Persuasion skill bonus).

Increases Charisma
The following items increase Charisma while equipped:
- Duke Ravengard's Longsword increases Charisma by +2 (up to 24, the mouse-over tooltip doesn't mention it when you have the sword equipped, but the sword doesn't let you pass 24)
- Birthright increases Charisma by +2 (up to 22)
The following sources permanently increase a character's Charisma score:
- Patriar's Memory permanently increases Charisma by +1 (up to 24)
- Auntie Ethel's Hair permanently increases Charisma by +1
- The Mirror of Loss permanently increases Charisma by +2 (up to 24)
Reduces Charisma
- Smuggler's Ring reduces Charisma by -1
- Devilfoil Mask reduces Charisma by -1 per nearby creature also wearing a mask

Ability checks
- Tyrannical Jackboots Scintillating: You gain a +1 bonus to Charisma checks
- Harmonic Dueller Mellow Harmony: You make a Performance check, success grants all your melee weapon attacks additional damage equal to your Charisma Modifier (min.1).
Temporary hit points
- Helmet of Smiting Bolstering Smite: When you apply a condition with one of your Smite spells, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier.
- Duke Ravengard's Longsword Stirring Execution: On kill: allies within 9m (30ft) gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier (min.1).
- Potent Robe Well-Liked and Well-Fortified: At the beginning of your turn, grant you temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier.
Other
- Potent Robe Gregarious Caster: Your cantrips deal additional damage equal to your Charisma Modifier.
