Overview edit
Mol and her fellow tiefling children use the hideout as a home base to run scams and other exploits. After earning Mol's favor, the party can speak to her to obtain the quest , as well as trade with Mol. After the tieflings leave the village, another character sets up here and guards the items.
The Tiefling Hideout has two entrances:
- Through the Concealed Hatch at X: 227 Y: 553 in The Hollow of the Emerald Grove, behind Doni.
- The hatch can be revealed by succeeding a passive Perception check while speaking to Doni, followed by passing a DC 10 Investigation check. Rogues have Advantage on this Investigation check. DC 10
- If Mirkon is rescued in , he tells the party the password and to speak to Doni, who allows them in.
- Through the Rocky Crevice at X: 224 Y: 564 in The Hollow of the Emerald Grove, where Silfy escapes to after stealing, or being caught trying to steal, the party's belongings. (See Find Your Belongings.)
- Passing a Perception check to reveal the crevice. DC 5
- A party member must be small-sized or smaller in order to fit through the crevice. Small-sized creatures include gnomes, halflings, and normal-sized creatures under the effect of Reduce.
Entering the hideout without doing anything to befriend Mol causes her to threaten the party to leave in 'a tencount'. She begins to count audibly. If the party members do not leave in time, Mol runs away. After leaving, the party mermbers are accosted by the guards outside, for 'threatening children', and must pass a Deception check or the party member who spoke to Mol is sent to prison.
