Involvement[edit section | visual editor]
Act One[edit section | visual editor]
Silfy is standing near her brother Mattis pretending to be his guard. If the talking party member steals Mattis' ring and then tries to buy something from Mattis, Silfy tries to steal back the 'magic' ring as well as some of the talking party member's belongings when looking at his wares. The talking party member can catch Silfy in the act if a passive Perception check is passed. If failed, another passive Perception check triggers, which, if passed, starts the quest Find Your Belongings.
If Silfy is caught stealing, the party can confront her, and optionally shake her down to recover their belongings. Otherwise, the party can question her if she saw anything suspicious as a guard. If Silfy is successfully intimidated, she gives away Mol's name and threatens to call her but realizes that this would be a mistake. She then runs away through the rocky crevice into the Tiefling Hideout.
If the party travel to the Rosymorn Monastery Trail or the Shadow-Cursed Lands before resolving Kagha's ritual the Rite of Thorns, the tieflings are expelled from the Emerald Grove and Silfy's murdered corpse is among the bodies of all the other refugees near the bridge to the Blighted Village.
Act Three[edit section | visual editor]
Silfy moves next to the Heapside Strand Waypoint at X: 20 Y: -138, selling the Baldur's Mouth gazette. If the party speak to her for the first time here, she timidly tries to sell them a copy. Over time (through long rests), she tries more charismatically, prompting the player character the option to remark her that her sales technique is improving. If this option is chosen, she credits the party for her newly found courage.
