Overview[edit | edit source]

Carm's Garm is a two-storied building located in the north-east of Wyrm's Crossing, across from Danthelon's Dancing Axe. It has no cellar, featuring a subjacent tunnel instead, accessible from the outside wooden sidewalks of the Crossing bridge. Near the store building, three machinery enthusiasts - Trinigan Gazotts Trinigan Gazotts, Slozy Arminifer Slozy Arminifer and Vinegaroon Vinegaroon - discuss spiritedly the technical features of the Steel Watchers.

The store is owned by Carmen Pennygood Carmen Pennygood, the sister of Figaro Pennygood Figaro 'Facemaker' Pennygood, the owner of Facemaker's Boutique in the Lower City. Their relationship is uneasy, as both are keen to carry on their deceased father's metier, but deem each other unapt in tailoring and fashion. One of the blackboards standing in the tradehall says that the proprietor does not take on mending clothes from the Facemaker's, as those are hopeless, while one of letters in the backroom states the same opinion of Figaro's on his sister's works.

Carmen offers a fair amount of Camp Clothing to buy (from Common to Rich grades), as well as lots of Rare dyes. In several containers around the store, including the second floor, the party may also steal several random clothing items of the same quality.

Inside the store the party can also meet Naaber Naaber, a meddlesome young man who starts to follow the player character once they enter, prompting them to talk. If talked to, he starts to imitate various character Classes one by one separately (therefore, it takes 12 times to hear out all his attempts). However, if the player character goes through it resignedly, Naaber rewards their patience with Absolute Confidence Amulet. Within the dialogues when Naaber is imitating a Bard and a dog (which comes instead of Druid class) the player character may also earn approval from their companions.
