Fist Jara is human Flaming Fist patron of Sharess' Caress in Wyrm's Crossing. She has a tadpole, and will transform into a Mind flayer upon encountering the party.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Jara can first be seen in Naoise Nallinto Naoise Nallinto's room, in a makeout session with her. Upon being approached by the party, an extended cutscene begins, in which Jara recognizes the party and is commanded to transform into a Mind Flayer by the Netherbrain. This results in combat.

Blight Blight (Action + Level 4 Spell Slot)
Damage: 8~64

Deals 8d8NecroticNecrotic to a target. Plants take maximum damage from this spell, and have Disadvantage Icon.png Disadvantage on the Saving throw against it.

Conjure Elemental: Fire Elemental Conjure Elemental: Fire Elemental (Action + Level 5 Spell Slot)
The fire elemental can use Smouldering Touch Smouldering Touch, Erupting Cinder Erupting Cinder, and can make your foes Burn Burn.
 Range: 18 m / 60 ft
Counterspell Counterspell (Reaction + Level 3 Spell Slot)

Try to stop a spell being cast.

If it is higher level than the spell slot you used to Counterspell, you must make a check using your spellcasting ability[See Notes] to prevent it. The check's difficulty is equal to 10 plus the level of the spell you are trying to counter.

This spell can be cast while you are Silenced Silenced.

If the spell misses, the target still takes half the initial damage, but no damage at the end of its next turn.

Damage: 4~32 + modifiers

Spew forth a conical wave of psychic energy and possibly Stun Stun targets within.

  • Despite being a Flaming Fist Wizard, Jara's portrait has her wearing the Flaming Fist Leather Armour rather than the Simple Robe they are known to wear.
    • That same Flaming Fist leather armour can be found neatly folded nearby, next to the room's water spring.
