Stug is in the Elfsong Tavern in the Lower City arguing with his sister Gherva Minedale about Stug leaving the Guild to join her order of Helm called the Vigilant Knights. He is finishing a job for Uktar, pressuring the Guild’s debtors to pay what they owe, which might involve breaking their knees.
The party can advise him to either finish the job or abandon it. In the latter case Stug says he will return the payment to Uktar and hopes he will only have to break one of his knees. Regardless of the choice, he decides to remain at the Elfsong Tavern with his sister, claiming he is not yet ready to face up what he must do.
